Mount Cook (3754m) is the tallest mountain in New Zealand. It is almost
same hight to Mt Fuji (3776m) in Japan. Maori named it Aoraki. And also
known as "Cloud piaser"-you can often see top part of the mountain
above long holizontal cloud-.
After I took this photo we drove down to Mt Cook village, which is 60KM
away from Lake Pukaki information centre. Driving and headding towered
to the big mountain was buliliant!! The mountain was getting bigger and
bigger as I run. It made me so excited. And the amaging tacoize blue colored
glacier lake on the right hand side of the road was fasinating to me, too.
So I was busy for waching and driving.
Mt Cook is quite often sround by cloud. So Somebody said 'if you could
see her entire body, it is lucky.' Yes, that was lucky day for us. |
