Russell （ラッセル） ＮＺのなかでも古い歴史を持つこの街。今は静かなリゾート地として名が知られているが、かつて1840年頃までは捕鯨者やアザラシ狩り猟師の居留置であった。半島の先端に位置している為、船でのアプローチが便利。船を下りたとたん、かすかに時間的異国の香りがする。 One of the histrical town in New Zealand. It is known as quiet resort now but it used be settlement of whale and furseal hunters untill 1840s. Russell is located the tip of peninsula so taking boat is quick way to get there. Once you take off the boat you would feel you have time travel.
